New Priest-in-Charge announced

June 3rd, 2012 by andrew

An announcement from The Right Revd Jonathan Meyrick, The Bishop of Lynn was read out in the Churches of the Benefice on Sunday 3rd June 2012:

We are glad to announce that the Revd Andrew Beane, the new Priest-in-Charge of Aylsham, has accepted the Bishop’s offer to him also to be Priest-in-Charge of Cawston, Haveringland and Heydon, working in colleagueship with a House-for-Duty associate priest who will take the prime responsibility in caring for these parishes.  We expect to proceed with this House-for-Duty appointment promptly and the date for Andrew Beane’s licensing will be the same as the licensing of the new associate priest.

In Andrew Beane’s acceptance letter he said “I am happy to accept this offer, and look forward to opportunity it creates for both the Cawston and Aylsham Benefices.”  He added “May I take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers, guidance and confidence in my ministry here.

We all look forward to his ministry.
