Although we like to keep our building open every day for visitors, the pandemic situation has made this impossible.

The need to clean the building between periods of opening is beyond the capacity of our dedicated team of volunteers. The building is too big to clean frequently to a sufficient standard, and we can’t use any harsh chemicals on the ancient fabric and furnishings due to risk of permanent damage. All of this means that the church is not open for private prayer at the present time.

New restrictions coming into force on the 5th November 2020 mean that acts of worship planned for November are now cancelled. All services for November will be online through our Facebook page and through this website. We hope face-to-face worship will return in December and await further guidance from the Church of England and the UK Government.
