Like all charities, your local parish church depends on donations to cover its costs. Parish churches receive no direct funding from government, and day to day costs are met by parishioners.

The church in Cawston has annual costs of over £40,000. These include utilities, insurance, basic building maintenance, clergy costs, consumables and a contribution towards the Diocese.

Donating to your local church has never been more important, and we would encourage you to consider whether you can help in this way.

Planned Regular Giving

A regular donation is incredibly helpful for the church. It helps us to plan ahead and to cover the fixed costs of operating the building. Even a modest monthly amount would really help. To donate by standing order, please fill in this form and follow the instructions.

Donations at services

You can donate in cash when the church is open for worship and events. At most services you can also donate using major debit and credit cards using our self-service contactless payments terminal.

Online Donations

If you are not attending a service, or forget to bring cash or a contactless card then we welcome one-off or regular donations using our online giving page. Please scan or click the QR code here to visit our online donations site.

Gift Aid

How ever you choose to give, we would encourage you to Gift Aid your donation if you are eligible to do so. This allows us to claim 25p for every £1 donated and makes a huge difference to us.
